DTA, DTE, DTG Integration

In Germany, the Central Credit Committee (Zentraler Kreditausschuss) - a committee comprising central associations of the banking industry - has published message formats for the exchange of messages between corporates and banks relating to Import L/Cs, Export L/Cs and Guarantees.

DTA (for Import L/Cs), DTE (for Export L/Cs) and DTG (for Guarantees) are channels used to handle this messages in DOKA.

The incoming/outgoing sides of the messages are supported by the specifications for

• DTALC Import L/C opening and amendment requests (corporate to bank)
• DTALCR Import L/C acknowledgments of Import L/C opening and amendments (bank to corporate)
• DTALCA Import L/C document acceptance (corporate to bank)
• DTALCD Import L/C document processing (bank to corporate)
• DTAEA Export L/C advising and amendment (bank to corporate)
• DTAEAD EXport L/C document processing (bank to corporate)
• Gnn: Messages based on the specifications for Guarantees

These channels are activated/deactivated using a central switch in the Init of the relevant DTxMOD. If the ACTFLG flag is filled, the channel is active, if empty it is deactivated.
