The following steps are required to activate/implement the ACK system:
Enter the
PDA service in the Workflow for transactions in which ACKs are to be generated (where necessary enter other PDx for multilevel ACKs)
Enter
PDA in the appropriate position in the service order (it is important that this lies after the message has been dispatched, but before CLN)
Create an ACK record in the dispatch service (e.g. in the “SendMessageCUS”rule).
To suitably set individual fields, see the field description in the ACK table
If the status level is available (through whatever means, even direct database update is possible here) set the STA field for the relevant ACK record (identifiable using EXTKEY and ACKSRV) to 'R'ejected or 'A'cknowledged.
This typically happens in a suitable entry service with incoming ACK messages.
If there are several ACK records for a TRN record, the SRVPDA service in the Workflow then automatically waits until 'A'cknowledged appears for all ACK records in the TRN. In the event of an NAC, the transaction is stopped displaying an 'E'rror in the Workflow.
