The purpose of this module is to provide all functions and buttons to handle reports and statistics created by the module RPTSUB. The flexible report generator RPTGEN and transactions based on that module are using RPTBUT
Module functionality:
Subpanels with necessary function buttons
“Load” and “Save” of entered selection criteria
Automated adjustment of dates when reloading the report definitions stored in the past
Interactive selection of basic settings for report generation
Interactive selection of the output format
Required steps for implementing a report using RPTBUT:
RPTBUT has to be made available within the transaction. This is usually be done by using the module in the main transaction.
A panel holding all selection criteria and information needed for the report has to be created.
Create an event rule which holds the report logic and the respective call's to RPTSUB functions to create the report.
