Taking over INI Files out of Patches

In the following the handling of INI files, that are part of the provided patches, is described in detail.

At first, the patch will be applied, whereas the INI files are stored in “dng\ini” or in “<Overlay-Name>\ini”.

Now, the provided files can be transferred into the Unix system. At first from “dng”, then from each respective overlay. Thus it is achieved, that the customized INI files overwrite the product files.

The following files can be taken over at any time:

• *.dof
• *.dom
• *.dob
• *.tdp
• *.xsi
• ???SUP.INI
• ???OVR.INI
• CBSCONF.INI
• D5CONST.INI
• TDCONST.INI

*.DCT files are not required on Unix machines.

INI files, that are not listed above, should be compared individually. In case of doubt, they should not be taken over, especially TDPARA.INI and TDRIGHTS.INI.
