Doka provides the EMLMOD module for the purpose of sending out Emails and faxes.
Using this module, Emails and faxes can be sent using the following methods:

To send Email via SMTP, an SMTP server must be available.
This method requires the following information to be entered:
For this method of sending Email to be available “Unix sendmail” must be installed.
With this method the Email generated is stored in this directory (relative to Partition “Data”). Another system, located outside Doka, must then pick up the Email and forward it.
The checkbox “Convert Lineend to 0D0A” specifies for SMTP if the linend characters has to be converted from 0A to 0D0A.
This method requires the programming of a customer-specific procedure.
