General Information

When using parties in contracts it is important to keep on top of all the relevant information. Besides details such as name, address, telephone number and language, other details are also important. Party type, for instance, determines how the party can be deployed in a contract.

It is also possible to assign the various “additional addresses” for a party to the party type. For more information, see Working with Parties/Addresses.

Details of contact persons can also be stored for a party.

What is more, it is possible to define particular shipping instructions. For instance, the number of copies of the main message can vary from the default values for the application form. Furthermore, it is possible to name additional recipients of copies of outgoing correspondence. This function allows the user to send additional copies to an address other than the main address used in the business transaction.

Once parties have been captured, it is possible to add special conditions, accounts, limits, etc. that are specific to the party.

Cross-References to Parties

The different types of information related to a party can be maintained by selecting transaction “Party”.

Additional Information on Fees, Conditions and Limits

The hierarchy of special conditions and fee conditions (see “Using Defined Fees” in the “General Information”) can be adjusted for specific customer requirements, as can the Limit System.
