A range of basic data is required for system setting that is independent of both user and entity.
System parameters contain definitions, for example, of the languages available, the system currency, the names of the days and months for date insertions, the fonts to be used as well as other display settings.
TradeDesign rights are used to describe requirements relating to password verifications and the logging of attempted logins.
In addition, calendars relating to countries and currencies can also be stored. Each calendar consists of a system calendar that contains the weekly settings and an annual public holiday calendar. When selecting a value date, the system automatically takes account of the specific calendar for the currency selected. The calendar icon in each data field will show the day of the week in red if the date is a public holiday or non-working-day.
There is also a standard public holiday calendar, which can basically be used as a default calendar. This standard calendar can be 'German', 'English' or even a currency (EUR), for example. This organizational decision can be met on an installation-specific basis. Any number of annual currency-related public holiday calendars can be set up.
