Managing Sessions
Transaction DBMSSN
This transaction is used for controlling processes.
The following options to affect running processes are available:
- Icon
: Sets the status of the session (of the SSN record) to 'Canceled' - Icon
: Sends an 'Exit' Notify message. A Notify message is sent to the process, which terminates when receiving the message (Notify will be re-sent every minute). - Button [Kill]: If this command is sent to an application process, it can be ended correctly (Unix only)
- Button [Kill-9]: The application process will be terminated completely (Unix only).
