Datafield Description and Properties

Datafield INR Internal Unique ID

Unique internal ID of a record within the table. The INR is a text field, which is created by retrieving the next valid entry from the counter of this table. The field INR is used to enable links from other tables to this table.

For contractdata the INR also links the two tables xxD and xxT as associated entries hold the same INR.

Datafield VER Version

This field holds the version counter used to keep track of the history of an entry of this table. The individual versions are managed by entries in the SLG table.

Datafield GIDTXT Guarantee Text

External relevant text of the guarantee. All variables are resolved. Up to and including the 'Creating a Guarantee' transaction, the text is automatically reset using the guarantee text with variables. After opening the guarantee, the text can only be changed in 'Amending' using the option “Modify Text”.

Datafield GIDTXT2 Second Guarantee Text

External relevant second text of the guarantee. All variables are resolved. Up to and including the 'Creating a Guarantee' transaction, the 2. text is automatically reset using the guarantee text with variables. After opening the guarantee, the 2. text can only be changed in 'Amending' using the option “Modify Text”.

Datafield GTXGIDTXT Guarantee Text (with Variables)

Mandatory text relating to the guarantee (variables not resolved). This can be edited on the guarantee text panel. The text is the basis for the guarantee text, however without resolving variables. This text is initially filled from the guarantee text entry appropriate for the guarantee.

If this field is empty, it is filled from the guarantee text in the 'Init' of 'Pre-Creating a Guarantee', 'Creating a Guarante', 'Amending'. This can happen for old guarantees and for guarantees filled from incoming messages.

Datafield GIDTXTAME History of Amendments

The field displays the text of previous amendments to the guarantee.

Datafield REVTXT Revers Text

A “revers” is a written and legally binding declaration . The revers may hold general terms and conditions for all types of guarantee. The applicant may have to accept/countersign these conditions prior to issuance of the guarantee.

Datafield FLDMODBLK List of Modified Fields in GIDGRP

The field holds a list of all fields identified as modified when the contract was last updated. This field is used to mark the respective fields as modified when the contract is loaded.

Datafield APPRUL Applicable Rules

The 'Applicable Rules' field contains the code for the rules applicable according to tag 40C of the outgoing SWIFT MT760 (guarantee). 'Applicable Rule', the text field of the rule and the 'Undertaking Form' (LEGFRM) are closely related. 'Undertaking Form' was used in the application before 'Applicable Rule' and the text field of the rule were introduced by SWIFT. In older and large installations with many guarantee texts, 'Undertaking Form' is used to break down the list of defaulted guarantee texts ('Undertaking Form' is available in 'Displaying a Guarantee Text Definition'). This is effective if the bank has a range of its own standard texts. In smaller installations, 'Applicable Rule' and the text field of the rule may be sufficient. This field specifies the rules governing the contract.

Datafield APPRULTXT Specification of Applicable Rules

This field contains details of the applicable rules if no rules have been specified. Applicable Rule', the text field of the rule and the 'Form of Undertaking' are closely related. As this field is defined as a text field in SWIFT, the contents need to be copied manually into the settlement panel.

This field contains the content of TAG 39C of the incoming MT 769 (Advice of Reduction or Release).

This field contains information about additional amounts related to the undertaking, for example, interests, tolerances. Minus/plus tolerances to be specified as 2n/2n. One or more of the codes (such as ADAM, TOLR etc.) defined by SWIFT may be used.

This field specifies where the sales contract (local undertaking) between the importer and the exporter has been concluded.

Datafield COVGODSRVC Underlying Transaction Details - Local Undertaking Seq. C

This field specifies concise details of the underlying business such as the goods/services that are covered through issuance of the local undertaking. With SWIFT 2021 this field specifies the Underlying Transaction Details which is optional in the optional sequence C (45L).

Datafield ADDINFC Additional Information

This field holds any additional information for the local undertaking and can be included in the undertaking text.

When an incoming ISCO is handled, the incoming Seq. C tags are mapped into the Seq. B fields in DOKA, ie tag 22K is mapped into the field GIDGRP\REC\GARTYP.

So add this field to show “C”-content in “B”-Overview
