Static Data

The management of static data is a central feature of business transaction processing in the application. Data is stored in database tables for the various application elements from where it is retrieved for processing in the relevant business transactions.

Basically, the application manages the data required for processing itself. However, it is possible to run an update of external data. This requires the customization of the interfaces.

In detail, static data includes:

Party Information

  • Parties
  • Addresses
  • Contacts
  • Mail instructions
  • Accounts
  • Limits
  • Service Level Agreements

Country Information

  • Single countries
  • Regions (the EU, for example)

Currency, Charges, Exchange Rates and Interest

  • Currencies
  • Fees
  • Conditions
  • Single exchange rates
  • Exchange rate tables
  • Types of interest
  • Interest rates

Texts

  • Object Infotexts
  • Helptexts

and for the system administration

Entities

  • Entities
  • Entity groups
  • Entity addresses

User

  • Single users
  • User groups
  • Office Menu
  • User Absence

By accessing the relevant database tables, reports can either be created with the help of the own functions of the application, or they can be generated individually by accessing database information.

For an overview of transactions for maintaining, please refer to Static Data resp. Administration.
