This transaction is used to reserve new contracts in the selected sector. A printout with the reserved reference numbers will be generated. The user can use this printout as a “memo” or he can also sent it (manually) to the involved party.

After selecting the party via the party number the business sector is selected, in which the reservation of the reference numbers has to take place. The role of the selected party in the contract is defined via the field “Role in Contract”. The number of the reserved reference numbers is specified via the input field “# of Reserved Ref.”.

The process is started by clicking the icon and subsequent confirmation. The application generates the reference numbers, which are displayed in a separate panel in printable list form. This list can be printed via the context menu.

The user can take notes on each individual reference number in the column “Comments / Notes” (e.g. purpose or the like).

Directly from the contract search field these reserved contracts without any content can be taken up via the opening transactions of the related business sector and edited for further processing.
