In today’s rapidly changing business environment, trade finance players need a fast and efficient way to integrate their eco system, develop and/or adopt/adapt new/existing products and/or services.

The Service Layer is a JAVA based RESTful JSON/XML API layer catering for the exposure of DOKA-NG selected transaction for both internal usage and through the connectivity to DNGAPI® to external consumers.

The Service layer uses an internal service manager to allow the execution of the existing transaction logic upon triggering, i.e. the same trade finance logic that is executed through DOKA-NG is applied when triggered via the APIs. The Service layer also uses the existing authentication / authorization mechanisms as enforced by the core solution ensuring both the secured access, encryption and data access rules.
