By means of this transaction, the amendment of contractual terms and conditions can be triggered for a group of guarantees of a party if the amendments to such terms and conditions are also to apply to existing guarantees.

In the first panel, the contracts can be selected (in particular, by means of the party and fee code, but also according to other features of the contract). After entering the selection criteria, the matching contracts are displayed in the list in selection mode. Now the contracts can be viewed and individually deselected as required.

After selecting the contracts to be amended, Condition [ Change] is used to record the new model condition. In the process, the second panel is activated and reserved for the contract condition of the first contract selected. Now the validity of the amendment and the new condition can be recorded here.

After recording the data, the function [ Execute] is used to generate an open transaction for each contract for automated processing. These are typically processed in the background by the transaction “Liability Adjustment” (GITTEN) with the Manager for Automatic Execution of Pending Items (SPTTSK). If errors should occur in the process, the transactions are made available as interrupted transactions for manual processing.
