Closing
Transaction RMTCAN
This transaction is used to close a reimbursement contract, because it has expired for example. Usually, the reimbursing bank receives instructions from the issuing bank via an incoming MT 747 (Reimbursement Amendment) by using the code 'CANC' in tag 72. The closing date of the contract is set to today's date.
Requirements
An existing Reimbursement contract which is open and not closed.
All existing Reimbursement Claims must be closed.

Transaction Control
Fees
All fees not yet settled for the contract are transferred to the Settlement Panel and set to 'Settle immediately'.
