There are no liability postings in the “Checks” business sector.

In contracts, the maximum amount is maintained and updated. The amount represents the total nominal amounts of checks handled in this contract.

The check pool shows the nominal amount of the check. Check pool entries also include CBS postings. For each check, these map the in-house value. This means that for checks that have not been sent, the CBS balance is the same as the nominal amount. With checks that have already been sent, the balance is zero. If a check is returned, the amount is credited again.
