Funding Repayment

Transaction SDTFBO

This transaction is used to pay back the funds to the Syndication Party from the same Syndication Account that was used to credit the funds.

Here, the settlement process is dependent on the “No Repayment Flag”.

If “No Repayment” checkbox is set, then no settlement is created for the funded amount; just the status is set to ‘Booked Out Funded’ and the fees are settled.
If “No Repayment” checkbox is “not” set, then settlement is created along with status being updated to ‘Booked Out Funded’. Now the funds are reversed from the Syndication Account and is visible in the Settlement panel. Any interest calculated on the funded amount is also paid. A Settlement message is also sent to the Syndication Party.

Status Handling

Possible Syndication Status	Comments
Booked Out Funded	Once the user enters the Details Panel, this status is defaulted in the dropdown list.

Example

The funds received from the Syndication Party are stored in the Syndication Account of the Syndication Party. The main panels used here are the Liabilities, Book Out, Deal Message/Handling and Settlement panels.

Syndication Liabilities: Here, the status will be defaulted to ‘Booked Out Funded’.

Deal Message/Handling: The user can either select a Partial Release or Full Release of the amount. Templates are available for the Syndication message and can be edited. The user can also choose to close the Syndication Deal and the Syndication Master Contract via this panel.

Book Out and Settlement panels:

If the “No Repayment Flag” is “not” set, the amount is credited back to the Syndication Account of the Syndication Party.

If the “No Repayment Flag” is set, then the funded amount is not credited back to the Syndication Party. Only fees and calculated interest is settled.
