Closing
Transaction SDTCAN
The transaction is used to cancel a Syndication Deal. The closing date of the contract is set to today's date.
A Syndication Deal can only be closed if no open syndication liability exists for the deal, i.e. the syndication amount must be equal to 0. Reduction of syndication liability is only possible via the Amending, Booking Handling and Funding Repayment transactions.
Once the Syndication Deal is closed, only a few transactions such as Settle Charges, Attaching an Incoming Message, Re-Open, and Report Generator Syndication Deal are allowed.
Outgoing correspondence is generated for the cancellation and sent to the Syndication Party.
Requirements
An existing Syndication Deal which is open and not closed.
