Closing
Transaction PUTCAN
The transaction is used to close the payment undertaking for whatever reason. If the payment undertaking is closed, the closing date is set to today's date.
Requirements
An existing Payment Undertaking contract which is not closed.
Loans are not allowed with open amounts.

Transaction Control
Fees
All fees not yet settled for the contract are transferred to the Settlement Panel and set to 'Settle immediately'.

Updating/Storing of Amounts (CBS)
If there is still an open amount for the payment undertaking, this will remain unchanged even after the contract has been closed.
Liability (LIA)
Any liability posted to the payment undertaking will then be completely removed.
