One of the major features in the application refers to the administration of countries. The various countries have been set up in line with ISO norms and can be referred to using a two-letter abbreviation. Codetables (CTYTXT) used in the selection lists in business processing are updated from the complete list of countries set up in the database. As well as listing the names of the countries in various languages, the country can also be set up to contain the name of the valid currency. Further, the database can also list whether the country has been assigned to one of the regions defined in the application. Groups of countries can be defined in the application using the defined regions. However, it is only possible to assign a country to one region.
