Documentation - DOKA-NG (Functional availability is per selected plan)

Below are the list of items that need to be taken into consideration while productizing any new business module into the product base version.

• Application Transaction Profile must be created for each transaction under the business module. It consist of configuration details of the transaction such as description, Job operation etc. Refer to Maintaining Application Transaction Profiles for additional information.

• For each transaction, Entity Transaction Profile must be created. It consists of information the application needs to process/maintain this transaction. Refer to Maintaining Entity Group Transaction Profiles for additional information. For every transaction being used, both the Application Transactions Profile and the Entity Group Transactions Profile must be defined correctly; failing to do so may lead to system malfunctions.

• Office Menu needs to be updated, it consists of the below
  • “Menu”: Each transaction should be added to the Menu. Detailed explanation on this can be found here Maintaining Office Menu
  • “Transaction profile(tdp)”:The transaction profile governs whether a specific transaction can be executed or not. For Top Level Menus at least one *.tdp file must exist under a name that is identical to that of the menu. Also, the name of each transaction under the module properties must also be the same. Detailed explanation on this can be found here Maintaining System Parameters. All *.tdp files (not only dngall.tdp!) must contain any new transaction. Remember that *.tdp files are MAC protected and have to be edited through the application.

• Field Labels must be translated to German. New database fields must have a DB Comment explaining the purpose. Wherever possible, help text needs to be added for fields.

• Packing Lists to be updated.

• All the Letters/Correspondence should use Product default XML template and must be verified. Detailed information on document rules, xml details can be found here Document Structure , XML Details.

• Dokuwiki documentation for each business sectors must be updated here Business Sectors.

• MyModelbank documentation must be updated here MyModelbank.

• The new business module must be translated to the available languages in the product base version. For e.g., currently to German and Spanish.
